“The H.I.S. Agency lives up to its name. My daughter Cydnee’s participation in the One Pearl helped teach formal lessons like etiquette, but the compassion and love of Dr. Derschaun Brown and her team were invaluable. Programs like One Pearl and the You Are The Gift Camp, show our future queens that they have a purpose to fulfill. Exposure to successful women who look like them, a college campus and positive peer interactions, left an indelible impression on my daughter. Dr. Brown has a goal of touching the lives of 1 Million girls, to which she is well on her way to achieving. I truly appreciate her diligence and dedication; she is an essential part of the village nurturing our youth.”

Don’t Take Our Word For it!
“Finding the Inner Beauty in Me! I learned how to boost my self-esteem, how to say positive things to myself, how to love myself before I can expect anyone else to, and how to treat my friends and how they should treat me. I also learned that I can be what I want to be -my best self. Thank you for helping me find the inner beauty in ME!”
“The training my girls received from Ms. Sharpley was both engaging and encouraging for tween girls. She presented on self-esteem/confidence as well as hygiene and they loved her! Her transparency with them and the hands-on activities made the experiences come to life for our girls. Who knew that learning about hygiene could be fun. We have already signed up for her upcoming Dining for Success workshop and the girls are excited and can’t wait!”
“Thank you, Ms. Derschaun, for showing me how to start a successful business. I had no idea that I could turn my hobby of making handmade cards into a flourishing business.”
“Building Girls of Courage, Confidence, and Character! Mrs. Sharpley brings a vast knowledge of program information and a variety of hands-on activities to keep participants engaged. The evaluations at the end of each program indicate that the participants not only had a great time but learned something new or enhanced their knowledge of the subject at hand. Adults have also given positive reviews and have expressed that they also learned something new during the sessions as well. It has been a pleasure working with Mrs. Sharpley and I believe that this relationship will continue to help build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.”
“Great Job in Reaching Our Girls! Let me take this opportunity to thank you and all your helpers, from the bottom of my heart for an excellent, well organized event. On several occasions I had the opportunity to peek in on the guests, and one in particular was Lexi who I had never heard of before. This sister is so highly anointed and was able to connect with the girls in a way that I could never have. I am truly grateful for the wealth of knowledge and information that you all shared with my girls as well as all the other girls in our ‘village.’”
